I've been having a great week! I met up with a load of Big Brother Ex- Housemates at the Hop Farm Festival in Kent, and had a great time playing for the Big Brother five-a-side team.
The results on the Friday tournament left a lot to be desired though! We got obliterated! You'd think on paper we'd have thrashed the opposition. Stuart (From BB9) is a gym instructor, Kris (BB10) used to play for a semi professional side, Rex (BB9) is a five-a-side veteran, and I exercise every day and run two miles every other day. Pete Bennett in goal was a last minute decision haha.
The other teams were (to be fair) either old men or slightly unfit bands. So what happened? Well, within two minutes of being on the pitch, we were all nearly dying! I don't know whether it was the Sun/ heat, or just the adrenaline dump, but we were like old men! The other teams ran rings around us! The Ref even stopped the second game because he thought Rex was having a heart attack!
We lost the first game 3-0, then lost 4-0 (Rex scored an own goal), then 4-1 in the final game (Kris scored for us). It's a good job we had a sense of humour!
The good news was I got to watch Blondie's set before the car came to take me to the studios to do my Big Brother's Big Mouth bit. I also got to see Ben's stand up routine - classic stuff. I thought his Margaret Thatcher joke was hilarious!
Saturday's tournament was much better - I played in goal, with Stuart, Kris, Craig Phillips (BB1) and a few ringers. We actually showed a fair bit of skill and won the first game 2-1, drew the second 1-1 (we should have won about 4-1, but their goalkeeper was an absolute legend!), and lost the third game 4-3 (in the game of the tournament). We needed one team in the last game to lose by a goal for us to make the final. Typically, one of the teams conceded a goal with ten seconds to go so we didn't make it. As a consolation, Stuart and I won Star player awards and got some pretty nifty trophies!

So the big Big Brother news this week is Shabby walked! The *£*&*** coward! I hate it when they do that! She knew she'd get the boot this week and decided to sneak out of the back door. I can't muster up any sympathy for her. She made her own bed by arguing with everyone and isolating herself, but then she didn't want to lie in it. How predictable. Oh well. No big loss. I'm liking the fact that every one of the people I don't like are going this year. I'm getting pretty good at this!
So Sunshine got evicted last friday. I got it wrong when I said Caoimhe would go. I think it was a classic case of the other two being more disliked, but the votes were split between them, and leaving Sunshine with more votes. Shame really, I though Sunshine was funny in her own way. Her carpet burn was immense!
John James and Nathan are up for eviction this week (thanks to Caoimhe winning the save and replace task). I can't see Nathan staying. He's had some pretty harsh and at sometimes intimidating words to say about other Housemates this week, and I don't think they've done him any good. Plus he's not really done anything of note in the entire series.
Whilst JJ has been equally argumentative at times, his relationship with Josie is a focal point of the show, and I think a lot of people will want him to stay to see that develop further.
In the meantime Caoimhe has being negative and disruptive all week. Speading acusations about the other HM's, constantly bothering Dave about religion in an attempt to make him look bad, and also disparaging Shabby. Even the look on her face constantly is like a thunderstorm. I'd like to see her removed from my television screen as soon as possible thank you very much!
Ben's being his usual self - not putting himself out for the team again. I think he neds to be careful. Right now he has a bit of popularity for his quirky ways, but I get the feeling that he's starting to take it a bit too far. There's a fine line to what the public find acceptable and annoying, and right now I think he's right on the edge of it. Anymore and the public will turn on him.
There's a new Housmate also! Titan the robot! What an awesome addition to the house! They should make Steve fight him! I'll have to admit being a bit jealous again with all the great stuff laid on for this year's BB. We didn't have anything like that last year! Waah!
So what am I up to this week? I'm filming with Zig and Zag on Saturday. (will probably air on Sunday). I think they are quite funny, so should be good for a laugh!
Catch ya next time!
