A west London filmmaker has been nominated for several awards in the coming months for his new feature film, The Profesional.

The zero-budget film - described as being “made for no more than the price of a weeks shopping” - follows hitman Eli Shepard as he takes part in a kill contract, and delves into Eli’s callous and brutal world.

Audiences can expect dangerous psychopaths, surreal relationships and extraordinary characters.

The title is purposely misspelled to highlight the film's themes of the mistakes and flaws that define us as people, the creator explained.

Taras Groves, 26, shot the entire film in west London, including Eastcote, Ruislip and Harrow.

The film has been noimnated for several film festival awards, most notably ‘Best Ensemble’ at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards.
