If you can't make it to Aintree this year for the races, we've got everything you need to know on how to watch it on TV so that you don't miss out.

There are some big races across the Grand Opening Day on Thursday, Ladies' Day on Friday and of course The Grand National event on Saturday.

So here is where and when you can watch one of the biggest and best racing festivals on TV, and most importantly the main event - the world's most famous steeplechase.

Grand Opening Day, Thursday April 7

The Grand Opening Day's main race is the 3.25pm Aintree Hurdle

Channel 4, 1.45-5pm

Catch live coverage presented by Nick Luck and Emma Spencer of the 3.25pm Aintree Hurdle , plus races at 2.15, 2.50, 4.05 and 4.40pm .

There will also be commentary and analysis from Simon Holt, Richard Hoiles, Jim McGrath, Graham Cunningham, Tanya Stevenson and Brian Gleeson, and reports from Alice Plunkett and Mick Fitzgerald.

Ladies' Day, Friday April 8

There will be plenty of coverage of the Melling Chase on Ladies Day

Channel 4, 1.45-5pm

Live coverage returns with Nick Luck and Emma Spencer presenting the 3.25pm Melling Chase , and races at 2.15, 2.50, 4.05 and 4.40pm .

There will be commentary and reports again, plus Gok Wan will be assessing the Ladies Day fashion.

Grand National, Saturday April 9

Watch the 169th steeplechase, the 5.15pm Crabbie's Grand National on Saturday April 9

Channel 4, 2-6.30pm

For the third and final day at Aintree Clare Balding and Nick Luck will present live coverage of the 169th steeplechase, the 5.15pm Crabbie's Grand National .

There will also be coverage of the races leading up to the event including the 2.25pm EZ Trader Mersey Novices' Hurdle, The Doom Bar Maghull Novices' Steeplechase at 3pm, the Liverpool Stayers' Hurdle at 3.40pm and the 4.20pm Betfred Handicap Steeplechase .
