What you can see

Hereditary

There's a good chance you will have already seen the trailer for Hereditary , the film that has been described as "this generation's Exorcist".

The horror stars Gabriel Byrne, Toni Collette, Alex Wolff and young film debutant Milly Shapiro.

As you will see from the trailer above, it doesn't look like it is going to be one of the faint of heart.

Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War is one of the highest grossing films of all time

Released at the end of April, the third film in the Avengers and Marvel is still available to view in theatres.

The blockbuster contains what is arguably the biggest ensemble cast in cinema history with names like Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson and Benedict Cumberbatch just the tip of the iceberg.

Justifiably, however, the movie became the fastest to reach a worldwide gross of $1 billion.

Solo: A Star Wars Story

Solo: A Star Wars Story stars Woody Harrelson and Emilia Clarke

You should get used to seeing Star Wars movies in theatres. This standalone film focuses entirely on Han Solo. In the next few years, it will be followed up by another standalone film focused on Obi-Wan Kenobi and, if rumours are to be believed, another on Boba Fett.

These of course will be released following the release of Star Wars: Episode IX which has already been given a release date of May 24, 2019.

Solo: A Star Wars Story was released last May and has so far received positive reviews from critics.

Deadpool 2

Deadpool 2 stars Ryan Reynolds

Out of all the sequels brought out in 2018, few have gone down as well with audiences as Deadpool 2.

Like Avengers, Deadpool is also a creation of Marvel Comics and is classed as being the eleventh installment in the X-Men series.

As well as starring as the title character, Ryan Reynolds has also had a role to play in writing and producing this film which won't be in cinemas for too much longer.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again will feature songs from ABBA's back catalogue

Given the popularity of the first Mamma Mia movie, it's absolutely no surprise to see this sequel being brought out around the time of it's 10 year anniversary.

The second, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again , has been given an official UK release date of July 20. Once again, it will star Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Amanda Seyfried and Colin Firth.

Sherlock Gnomes

Sherlock Gnomes is the sequel to 2011's Gnomeo and Juliet

If you're looking to use the 5 for £25 offer to entertain little ones for the afternoon, the best family film that is still in Odeon theatres is probably Sherlock Gnomes from director John Stevenson.

The computer animated comedy is a sequel to the popular 2011 title Gnomeo & Juliet and features familiar voices in the shape of Johnny Depp, James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Mary J Blige.

Another fun-for-all-the-family romp to consider may be Show Dogs starring Will Arnett.
