A children's summer funfair is to be held in Ravenscourt Park, Hammersmith from Wednesday, August 6 to Sunday, August 17. The fair features some new rides and entry is free. Weekdays the fair is open from 2pm - 8pm and on weekends it runs from 11am to 8pm.
Eastcote Lawn Tennis Club Summer Holiday Camp offers tennis coaching for all ages and abilities. The popular camp is running for three weeks for children aged five-15 years old, and cater to all abilities. Activities include tennis themed games, mini tennis, match play, working with a ball machine, and racquet skills. It costs £25 per day or £110 for a week, 10am-3pm until August 22. A packed lunch is required, and comfortable, weather appropriate clothing should be worn. There is a tuck shop selling snacks and drinks.
There's still time to sign up for the Urban Ambush youth arts festival taking place at Watermans in Brentford . Youngsters aged eight to 18 can learn skills including freerunning and song-writing at weekly workhops running until August 22, before showing off their new-found talent at the end of the week.
A note for your diary: The first official Netmums Meetups will be an outdoor Meetup tomorrow (Friday 8 August) at 10 am at the Brent Lodge Park (Bunny Park). They will set up on the grass just outside of the play area so you can still keep an eye on the kids. Please bring along a picnic blanket and packed lunch if you like although there is a coffee shop as well.
Children can cultivate green fingers at a series of weekly gardening workshops at Osterley Park and House. The Little Seedlings gardening club is taking pace at the estate’s kitchen garden every Tuesday afternoon until August 26. Every Tuesday until August 26, from 12pm-4pm.
