Northwood locals are set for a blast from the past with some good old fashioned fun at the Michael Sobell Hospice annual Vintage Affair on Sunday (July 12).

Visitors to the event will be treated to live music throughout the day from the Tony Oliver Jazz Band, Stardust Big Band, Mixed Emotions Band and Pimp My Jazz.

Swing dance group, will also be performing at the Vintage Affair.

Locals will have plenty to do with vintage stalls selling clothing, jewellery, bric-a-brac and china as well as a selection of beautiful classic cars on show.

Set teas will also be served all day in the Vintage Tea Rooms.

Tennis fans won't be disappointed as the Wimbledon finals will be streamed live whilst enjoying Prosecco and strawberries for a £5 donation to the charity.

Other attractions at the event include Red Cross massages and Jimmy Jam Tots Bear for the kids.

Volunteer event organiser Beverley Garber said: "This is the fifth year that we have run this popular event.

"It is a nice local day out, people can spend a few hours looking at lovely cars and browsing vintage stalls whilst listening to some great music and enjoying a good old fashioned set tea.

"We hope that people will come along and enjoy this event whilst supporting a great local cause."

The event will be held at Michael Sobell Hospice, Mount Vernon Hospital, Gate 3, off White Hill, Northwood HA6 2RN. All proceeds will go to the hospice.
