Ice skating in London: A rooftop ice rink bar is opening this winter!

A rooftop ice skating rink is coming to London this winter.

Tobacco Dock's Skylight in Wapping has had a festive makeover and will open the rink on Thursday November 2.

Themed around an urban après skate bar, the east London venue will play host to delicious seasonal drinks, street food and an indulgent fondue station.

The new winter season will feature a neon-lit winter playground with London’s only rooftop ice skating rink.

Sport fans can try Skylight’s ice hockey penalty shooting game on the lower floor.

Overlooking the ice rink is a cosy lounge marquee where skaters can grab a blanket and cuddle up with a wintry tipple.

Food traders will also return for winter and the fondue station will be serving cheese pots and melted chocolate - the ultimate après skate snacks.

How to get tickets

Tickets cost £10. Sessions last 45 minutes

Tickets are sold on the door only and are not available in advance.
