Dazzling horseback acrobatics and dancing ponies will be the mane attraction at this year's Osterley Park Country Show.

Thousands of people are expected to hoof it over to the National Trust venue in Jersey Road, Isleworth, to catch Jive Pony's equine displays and numerous other attractions at the two-day fair, beginning on Sunday (August 30).

It's not just horse play that's on offer. Kondini the Human Toolbox will have audiences wincing and laughing in equal measure as he stretches the pain threshold to the limit with instruments ranging from the humble hammer to a power drill.

Crowds will also be able to get up close and personal to a range of wildlife, from watching majestic birds of prey in full flight and enjoying the dog and duck show to bottle feeding lambs and grooming ponies.

There will be cookery demonstrations from Masterchef finalist Ondine Hartgroves, marquees packed with arts, crafts and gifts, and The Companion Dog Show sponsored by Skinner's Pet Foods on the Monday, which is open to all-comers, with proceeds going to Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The show, run by Oakleigh, will take place on Sunday (August 30), and the bank holiday Monday (August 31), from 10am-5pm each day.

Admission is £7.50 for adults (concessions £6), £3 for children aged five to 16 and free for under fives. A family ticket (two adults and two children) will cost £19.
