A new indoor fun park where families will have the freedom to jump around, bounce off walls and now have a go at freerunning, is due to open in west London.

Pioneer of freerunning Sébastien Foucan - famous for starring as a Bond villain in Casino Royale - is preparing to open another academy, following on from the success of his classes in Chiswick and Latimer Road.

The founder of the alternative sport has partnered up with Oxygen Freejumping, London's first trampoline park, which is set to open its doors in West Acton on Monday July 20.

The Foucan Freerunning Academy will run alongside the indoor park and is open to children and adults who want to play with freedom on a 3,000sq-ft obstacle course which will be used for the freerunning sessions, alongside 150 connected trampolines on the main floor.

Mr Foucan, who also featured in Madonna's 2005 single Jump, said: "I am very excited to be collaborating with Oxygen Freejumping to create a new experience of Freerunning.

"What I am passionate about is developing an environment where people can play with freedom because for me, activity is vitality.

“Oxygen Freejumping shares my vision and we are on a fantastic journey together."

The 27,000sq-ft trampoline park will also feature dodgeball courts, a giant air bag, 'walk the wall trampolines', and will host sessions such as Family Bounce, Teen Takeovers and Little 0’s for toddlers, plus a rebounding studio and professional trampolining academy for aspiring gymnasts.

As more Oxygen Freejumping parks open up across the UK, so will Foucan Freerunning Academies.

Oxygen Freejumping founder David Stalker added: "We’re looking forward to introducing a new means of moving so adults and children will be able to enjoy the very best in bouncing, jumping and freerunning.

"Sebastien will be an integral part of the design team across all of our sites, ensuring we have the very best Freerunning facilities alongside all of our other activities.”
