Just in time for the school summer holidays , Go Ape is to launch its first Nets Kingdom advenute.

Suitable for children aged one right through to adults, the whole tribe can spend two hours bouncing, crawling and clambering through an expansive network of tree top bounce nets, giant ball nets, walkways and slides, all while 30 feet up in the leafy forest canopy.

The exciting family activity will be available at Black Park near Slough from Friday, July 21.

Nets Kingdom at Go Ape

Tristram and Rebecca Mayhew, founders of Go Ape , said: "We’ve been plotting new ways for people to enjoy the great outdoors and Nets Kingdom is the result.

"Forests provide many of Britain’s best natural playgrounds and by encouraging toddlers, children, teenagers and adults to explore the tree tops this summer we hope they will also discover everything else they can do in a forest – whether it’s watching the wildlife, going for a walk or just unwinding.’"

With aerial bridges spanning 120m and big areas of bounce nets throughout the course, the adventure is designed to be the perfect summer activity for children aged three to 13.

Adults will love it, too, but for parents who are keen to keep an eye on their kids while remaining firmly on the ground, there is a great little coffee shop under the nets.

What is it?

The network of enclosed walkways stretches over 700m² and links eight bespoke tree houses to explore, high above the forest floor.

Adventurers can try their hand at clambering up a 9m netted climbing tower – that’s twice the height of a London double decker bus.

The finale is provided by two epic net slides which bring you safely back down to earth.

What else is there to do at Black Park?

You and your tribe can make a whole day of it in Black Park’s 530 acres of stunning woodland.

After completing Nets Kingdom, why not enjoy a picnic by the lake, build a den, hunt for bugs or explore the rest of the forest by bike or on foot?

You can even continue your summer holiday adventure up in the trees on Go Ape's Tree Top Junior or Tree Top Adventure or glide across the forest floor on a Segway.
