Hounslow Mosque is cooking up a feast of fun to celebrate Eid.

Fairground rides, live music and food will be served up at the Hounslow Jamia Masjid & Islamic Centre, in Wellington Road South, Hounslow, on Sunday (July 26).

Football freestyler Colin Nell will be showcasing his tricks and revellers can enjoy martial arts demonstrations and the vocal delights of Malaysian singing group the Al-Qibla Ensemble during the event, running from 10.30am to 7pm.

There will also be henna, face painting, a barbecue and more than 40 market stalls.

The fair, now in its fifth year, is organised by the Ha Meem Foundation, an Islamic educational organisation which runs the Lady Nafisa School in Hounslow.

The foundation is anticipating crowds of up to 3,000 at the party, held to mark the end of the month long Muslim fast known as Ramadan.
