With this weekend set to be a mostly dry there seems to be no better way to spend it then by attending The Hello Philippines Hounslow Summer Festival, writes Anand Patel.

The event in Lampton Park will see A-list Filipino talent including TV host and celebrity chef Marvin Agustin, comedian Ate Shawie, reality TV star Tom Rodriguez and singer Dennis Trillo gracing the stage.

There will also be a selection of fair rides, an outdoor enclosed cinema and a singing competition.

Revellers will be in fine company as Mayor of Hounslow Corinna Smart is scheduled to be there on Saturday and to coincide with the showing of his award-winning British-Filipino crime drama film Metro Manila in the outdoor cinema, director Sean Ellis will be among the crowds on Sunday.

Entry is £2 per person, per day with free entry for children under the age of 12.
