The Big Local Diwali festivities on Wednesday, November 18 will feature free South Indian dancing, henna tattoos, a family fun photo booth and Indian cuisine.
The celebrations for the Hindu festival of lights will take place at Brabazon Community Centre, in Brabazon Road, Heston, from 7pm-9pm.
The event has been organised by the Heston West Community Partnership (HWCP), in partnership with the Brabazon Estate Residents Association.
It is one of a number of activities in the area being run by the HWCP using the £1m of Big Local Lottery funding .
Sports, dance classes, sewing and knitting lessons and cookery workshops are among the packed programme of events on offer.
A new School of Rock for young musicians is due to begin next Tuesday (November 3), from 6pm-8pm, at Cranford Community College.
