Did you know that most dinosaurs actually had feathers and sounded like garden birds?

Yes the images of roaring beasts with scales is far from reality, in fact some of the animals from Jurassic times could have been ginger, not green as is commonly depicted.

So You Think You Know About Dinosaurs? is a hands-on show touring the country teaching children all about the real life dinosaurs whose footsteps we walk in today.

TV presenter and scientific expert Ben Garrod will be hosting the show, educating youngsters about the sights and sounds of dinosaurs, from creepy to cute and from tall to short.

Ben is best known for co-presenting the BBC One show, Attenborough and the Giant Dinosaur, alongside the one and only David Attenborough.

You can catch the show in London

Along the way, Ben will also let the dinosaur crazy youngsters quiz his knowledge, so they leave as experts on everything from a Brontosaurus and to Pamporaptors.

Ahead of the show, Ben said: “We have all at some point had a fascination with dinosaurs or thought they’re pretty cool.

"I want to give families the chance to take everything they thought they knew about these ancient animals and discover the truth.

"We’ll be using the most recent and up to date studies to give audiences as many amazing and cool facts as we can.

"I have done talks where kids will stick up their hands and ask me questions I don’t know the answer to, so maybe I’ll learn something too!”
