Chris Rock has announced details of his first UK tour in 10 years.

The award winning comedian will perform his stand up at Wembley Arena on January 26 and the O2 Arena on January 27.

It will be part of 'The Total Blackout Tour' which sees the Madagascar star head to six UK cities.

The actor, director, producer and writer is renowned for creating many pivotal pop culture moments.

He gained success after starring in Saturday Night Live, Top Five and films including Grown Ups.

Since then he has hosted the Academy Awards and received four Emmy Awards and three Grammy Awards.

The comedian is also taking the tour to Leeds, Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester and Birmingham.

When do tickets go on sale?

They go on general sale at 10am on Friday May 12.

Tickets will be priced between £45.40 to £107.85, plus any booking fees.
