Outspoken comic Jim Jefferies brings his "Unusual Punishment" tour to the Hammersmith Eventim Apollo early next year - and tickets are available now.

The tour starts in Canada on November 10th and comes overseas in January with dates in Norway, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Israel and the Netherlands before coming to the UK.

Jefferies will perform twice on the night of Friday January 19th with one gig at 6:30pm and the other at 9:30pm. The last of his London dates takes place on Wednesday 24th January.

Who is Jim Jefferies?

After relocating to the UK from his hometown of Sydney, Jim Jefferies quickly began to make a name for himself.

Aside from the attention he received after famously being attacked on stage at the Manchester Comedy Store, he also appeared in panel shows like Never Mind The Buzzcocks , Have I Got News For You and 8 Out Of 10 Cats .

Jefferies gained further recognition following the success of his first stand-up DVD Contraband . In total, Jefferies has released six specials including Bare and his latest, Freedumb , which are both available on Netflix.

In 2013, television network FX commissioned Legit which Jefferies created, produced and starred in. It lasted for two seasons and was highly acclaimed by critics.

Jefferies is currently hosting his very own weekly television series on Comedy Central tackling modern-day culture and politics.
