The price of going to football seems to keep soaring but Chelsea fans are lucky enough to be able to watch their team on TV more often than not.

Premier League football returns on August 13 and more than 200 matches will be televised during what promises to be one of the most exciting seasons in years.

Antonio Conte’s arrival has been met with widespread enthusiasm by Blues fans and he’s not the only new face heading for the English top flight.

Pep Guardiola’s appointment as Manchester City manager has added another new dimension to the proceedings for the 2016/17 campaign.

That’s not to mention Jose Mourinho’s new gig at Manchester United, with the Special One always guaranteed to bring his box-office entertainment.

But with an increasing number of Premier League games broadcast on television it is not easy to choose the correct TV package.

Sky Sports and BT Sport will split the televised matches this season, while Virgin Media and Now TV also offer options for football fans to catch the game.

Here is a roundup of what the two main broadcasters offer and how much it costs for TV sport packages.
