Charlie dumped his ragged school bag on the old kitchen table. He was about to pound upstairs when...

"CHARLIE!" His mother's voice rattled behind him. He trudged down the three steps that he had just climbed up.

"Yes, mum?"

"You're not going to play games on the computer, are you?" She asked suspiciosly.

"No, mum." He lied, his face blushing.

He sprinted up the stairs, hoping to avoid his mum seeing him blush. Charlie walked into his room and looked at the new game he had bought from a strange old man. 'The computer game'.

He inserted the disk into the hard-drive abd turned on the computer. But when the computer screen lit up, something strange happened.

The next thing Charlie knew, he was behind a glass screen looking out into his room.

"Where am I?" He thought to himself. He looked around. Then he realised. He was in the computer! He could see the internet channel and MSN messenger, even the Microsift word program! Charlie soon had an idea. He walked up to the internet channel and tapped it twice.

Then CRAAAASH! A large box fell from the sky and nearly hit Charlie. Charlie walked around the box and looked up. It was the homepage of the internet! Then Charlie had another idea.

He climbed up to the search bar and said "www.gladiators,com" Suddenly, the page morphed to his favorite website. He jumped on a game called 'Escape'. Out of the blue, a giant room fell on top of him. In the room, there were drawers, clocks and other furniture. He walked over to the door. It was locked.

"Woops." Charlie said, nervously. He had played this game before, not to long ago, and knew he had to find a key...But where was it. Charlie had forgotton. He depretly tried to remember, but he could'nt. But he did know it was something to do with...clocks. But there were hundreds of clocks! He opened all the drawers, looking for clues. Soon he found a peice of paper.

'look for the clock with one hand...' He looked around and groaned. None of the clocks had hands! He looked at his feet, how was he supposed to get out? Then he saw a coat rack with a heavy black coat hanging on it. Maybe it had a watch inside!

He looked in the pockets and the inside pockets too. Soon, he found a tiny silver watch...It only had one hand! Charlie looked closly at the hand, then he realised...The hand had a tiny message on it! It said, 'Look under the squeeky floor board.'

Charlie stepped on every floor board to see if it squeeked. One did, so Charlie tried to pull it out. After a while, the nails started to fall out. Underneath was a small silver key. He whooped in delight and put the key into the lock. Suddenly, the walls fell apart!

charlie jumped on the close button, and suddenly, the page dissapeared. He fell for a while, to the bottom of the screen.

"Ouch!"

Charlie hit his head on the bottom of the screen and slowly, evrything went black...

When Charlie woke up, he was sitting on a chair, facing the computer. He rubbed his aching head and smiled to himself. It had just been a dream. He must of dozed off. He opened the disk-drive and then he saw it. A disk in his computer. 'The computer game'.
