Students from west London schools have banded together to exhibit their art and photography work at a professional art gallery.

Paintings, sculptures and photos from pupils at Bridge Academy, Beachcroft School, Latimer Education Centre, Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College and William Morris Sixth Form will be on show next week at the Apothecary Gallery in Greyhound Road, Hammersmith.

As part of the gallery’s annual arts education programme, art and design and photography students from year seven and up will be showing off their pieces to the public in a professional environment.

The annual project has become a hit with students over the years and gives the public a chance to see the artistic talent coming up through schools and colleges across Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster.

Anna Marlen-summers, a lecturer at Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College, said: “The exhibition programme at the Apothecary has become an integral part of our BTEC courses, providing the learners with a valuable professional experience of exhibiting their work in preparation of the end of year show in college.”
