Award-winning photographer Phil Hatcher has launched a new exhibit, London Perspective, at Artisan Coffee in Ealing.

The exhibition offers glimpses of places and people all around the capital, including landmarks such as The Shard and Wembley Stadium.

Hatcher explains the exhibit "explores the highs and lows of life in our capital."

The exhibit was installed last week, and will run for three months.

Hatcher said: "London is a city of contrasts. There's the side people want to see, the tourism, and then there's the other side, of suffering. One of my photos shows a homeless man in front of the National Gallery. The contrast there was fascinating.

"My next project will be portraits, people within London."

Hatcher has been taking photos for eight years. In April this year, Hatcher won City Lit's Portrait competition with his photograph "No Sleep for Two Years", which can be viewed as part of the London Perspectives show.

Hatcher said: "Diversity helps... It's good to see other points of view. It breaks down barriers."

The exhibit is free to view and will run until Sunday October 18.
