The Avenue Vintage and Antique Market will be launched by girl group The Buttercups this weekend.

Shoppers will hear modern songs performed with old school harmonies in The Avenue, West Ealing, at 9am on Saturday (December 13), with the market running until 3pm on the pavement and in Drayton Court's function room.

More than 30 stalls will be available with art, prints, furniture, mirrors, jewelry, clothing, toys, books, and many hand-made items.

There will be a charity raffle with prizes donated by Ealing businesses, which will raise money for the retired Greyhound trust and Salvation Army.

Tickets are available to buy on the door.

The Vintage and Antique market runs on the last Saturday of each month and is funded and managed through West Ealing Business Improvement District (BID).

The market will run for an initial seven month period to March 2015.

Ann Hunter, Chief Executive of West Ealing BID said: “The growth in request for stalls at this new market has been extraordinary and shows the real potential west Ealing has in supporting markets, independent shops and new businesses.

"We hope to see the market continue beyond March and for it to become a real fixture on the London and local antique and vintage market calendar."
