Budding young dancers from the Kensington & Chelsea area are in with a chance of winning scholarships to some of London’s top performing arts schools when they take part in one of the Capital’s biggest dance event, Epic CIC’s Dance Showdown, later this month.
Individual scholarships to the summer schools of Sylvia Young Theatre School, Pineapple Performing Arts, Amplified Arts Academy and ZooNation are just some of the top prizes on offer at this year’s Dance Showdown, which takes place on Friday June 26 at the prestigious Cadogan Hall.
Other prizes on offer during the event include a day at Pineapple Performing Arts School, a master class with Impact Dance Academy and tickets to attend the English National Ballet’s Le Corsaire at the London Coliseum.
Dance Showdown gives children and young people, aged 7-19 or up to 25 with learning difficulty and/or disabilities, the opportunity to perform alongside established youth dance companies and guest artists from the best of the UK’s dance industry, in front of a judging panel made up of some of its biggest names.
