Former London Welsh man James Strong scored twice on his Rosslyn Park debut as his new side thrashed Rugby Lions 53-6 in National Three (South) on Saturday.
But it was Lions who started the brightest, leading 6-0 before Nick Canty got Park off the mark with a try converted by Dylan Pugh.
The same combination came up trumps soon after when Canty scored with an incisive diagonal run, and Pugh nailing a tough conversion.
With Pugh slotting a penalty in between too, Park lead 17-6 at half-time and started where they left off after the break with a Strong's first, again converted by Pugh - who then kicked a penalty.
Graham Barr and Chris Simmons added their names to the scoresheet, with Pugh converting one, before Canty took over kicking duties.
He was successful with conversions for Strong's second, and a final try from Billy O'Driscoll. [25a0] FORMER Harlequins and England star Will Greenwood will be pulling the pints at Rosslyn Park on Friday night.
