Nick Easter broke Harlequins' all time appearance record on Sunday when he played his 233rd game for the club - passing the total set by Ceri Jones.

Since joining from Orrell in 2004, Easter has been part of a huge transformation at Quins which saw them recover from relegation to National One a year later to become Premiership champions in 2012, and regular play-off challengers since.

Sadly, Easter's record breaking game did not end on a happy note as Quins were denied a place in the Premiership final when they let slip a half time lead to lose their semi final at Saracens.

However, the former England number eight insists he is not finished yet , as he told Get West London in the run up to the Saracens game.

He said: "At the moment, I've got no thoughts of retiring or anything like that. I just want to carry on. I've got at least one more year next year and I love playing. There's probably not long left of my playing career, so you've got to make the most of it."
