London Broncos coach Joe Grima was embarrassed by his team’s latest thrashing at the hands of Wigan Warriors.

Broncos have an abysmal record in the Super League and the form book reads played 19 and lost 19.

This latest setback was more than just a loss though, it was an annihilation at the Hive as the hosts offered next to no resistance and conceded 10 tries.

It left Grima close to breaking point at full-time.

"As a coach you know you are going to be let down from time to time, but we were unenthused and embarrassed,” Grima told BBC Sport.

"Players do not go out there to deliberately drop balls and play badly.

"I never question the effort of the players, but I really have to question the way we went about the game.

"We were told we would feel the wrath of Wigan today and that proved the case."

Josh Charnley ran riot for Wigan and claimed a superb hat-trick in Edgware.

The only moment of cheer for Broncos fans came two minutes before the break when Scott Taylor lost possession and Thomas Minns claimed a solitary try for the home team.
