London Broncos 12-50 Hull FC
The London Broncos crashed to their 15th defeat of the campaign, equalling the worst start ever to a Super League season by any club.
Trailing 22-6 late in the first half, any thoughts of a fight back were dashed just before half time when hooker Scott Moore was sent off for a high tackle.
Yet the game had started brightly for the home side when prop James Greenwood charged down a kick and re-gathered to score under the posts after just five minutes. Josh Drinkwater converted to make it 6-0 but they then conceded a raft of penalties to gift their opponents both possession and position.
Hull took full advantage to rattle up 22 points without reply but early in the second half Mason Caton-Brown reduced the arrears with a well-taken try, Drinkwater again adding the extras to close the gap to just 10 points.
But that was as close as they got as injuries and being one man down began to take their toll. Hull ran in 28 points in the final quarter to put some considerable gloss on the score line.
