Directors Johan Raslan and Nazir Razak have tendered their resignation from QPR Holdings Ltd, the holding company for QPR football club, just over a year after joining.

The duo had joined Tony Fernandes, Amit Bhatia, Ruben Gnanalingam and Kamarudin Bin Meranun on the board in November 2016 but have now stood down due to their other business commitments.

The club said on the QPR website: "The Board would like to thank Johan and Nazir for their support and commitment during their brief time at the club."

Raslan is a Malaysian chartered accountant who was Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia from 2004 until 2012 and he has also been a board member of AMMB Holdings Berhad, a financial services group in Malaysia.

Razak became Chairman of CIMB Group Holdings Berhad, a major financial services group, in 2014 after serving as CEO and he has also served as Chairman of the World Economic Forum Asean Regional Business Council. As well as this, he has also been an International Advisory Board member of the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford.
