Players from Hampton Youth FC enjoyed a day of training with Hampton & Richmond Borough first team manager Alan Dowson on Saturday.

The youngsters also received a guided tour of Beveree and took part in a Q&A session with the first team before watching their match against VCD Athletic in the afternoon, leading out the teams at the start.

All the boys, coaches and parents enjoyed their day so much that future sessions are being planned so all of the 21 teams representing Hampton Youth get an opportunity to spend time with the first team on a match day.

The following day, Freddie Waites hit a hat-trick as the U9s made it four wins out of five with a 4-0 win over Rocks Lane Rovers, with Sebastian Bircsak also netting, while an Afrim hat-trick and a Bradley Rance brace saw the U15s win at Kew Park Rangers.

Jack Lane was another hat-trick hero, while Savan Soni was also on target, as the U8 Colts edged past Esher Wizard Yellows 4-3, but the U8 Youth lost 6-4 to Halliford Colt, despite two goals from Charlie Fox and one each from Caelen Wright and Tommy Rance.

Liam O'Callaghan went one better with four goals as the U12s (HRBFC) beat Kew Park 7-0, with Jake Brown, Jared Myers and Ellis Pringle also netting, while Massimo Campanale and Joe Hillier both bagged braces, and Thomas Philpott notched the other, as the U12 Colts beat Old Isleworth Whites 5-2.

Two late strikes from Brandon Zapanta saw he U13s (HRBFC) win 2-0 at Kingswood, but the Colts lost 4-2 and the U14s went down 7-2 in a closer game the score line suggests, with Connor Ford and Mo Udin bagging the consolations.

A fifth goal of the season fro Dominic Rhodes earned the U11 Colts a 1-0 win over Whitton Wanderers, while the U10 Youth lost 2-0 to Sutton United and the U10 Colts went down 3-0 to Esher Youth.

Two goals from Joe Tullet and one each from Freddie Kemm and Bilal Benzerroun saw the U16s knock Lyne Leopards out of the Surrey Primary League Cup 4-0, while the U18s defeated Kew 4-2 in the Surrey Youth League.

The U7s lost 5-3 to Old Isleworthians but recovered to beat Woking 9-0 in a round robin tournament. Alfie Reed grabbed eight of their 12 goals, while Chester Gregory scored the other four.

Good run of form: Bedfont & Feltham U7 Yellows

Meanwhile, Jack Ramson hit another hat-trick as Bedfont & Feltham U7 Yellows continued their run of form with a win at Whitton Wanderers, with Junior Martin also getting his name also on the score sheet.

Shaydon Hasley was another hat-trick hero, while Liam Jenkins and Maxwell Chinyere chipped in too, as the U8s beat Ashford Town, but the U9s were downed 5-0 by Manorcroft Spitfires.

Two goals from Keegan Stewart and one from Thomas Chapman earned the U16s a 3-2 derby win over Bedfont Eagles, while the U12s won by the same score at Wallington Wanderers in the League Cup.

But the U10 Yellows were on the wrong side of a 3-2 scoreline against Lyne Pumas, despite goals from Ryan Moule and George Courtlakis, while Charlie Parker grabbed a consolation as the U10 Blues lost 4-1 at Esher Colts.
