MARTHA Reynolds broke her own club record in the 2,000m steeplechase at last weekend's UK Women's National League Premier meeting in Scotland.

The Windsor, Slough, Eton & Hounslow AC U20 athlete won in 7:10.80 minutes.

There were also wins for Yasmine Regis, Vicky Fouhy and Becca Kueny as WSEH finished fourth, taking them to third in the table. With one match to go, this should be enough to retain their Premier League status.

A second-place finish in their latest match means the senior men are poised to bounce back from relegation at the first attempt.

The result puts them second in Division One of the British League, with two games left and the top two going up to the Premier.

Rion Pierre and Nigel Levine competed rather than resting ahead of the European U23 Championships later this month and landed a double win in the sprint.
