BRADLEY Wright-Phillips reckons he has hit form at the right time as he looks to fire Brentford into the Championship.

The on-loan Charlton Athletic frontman has endured a frustrating campaign after smashing 22 goals in 45 games for the Addicks on their way to promotion from League One last time around.

Wright-Phillips has managed just one more for the south-east Londoners this term before his switch to Griffin Park in February.

After a slow start, the 28-year-old has plundered four goals in as many games, reaching red-hot form ahead of tomorrow's winner-takes-all promotion showdown with Doncaster Rovers.

Brentford need to beat Donny to leapfrog the visitors and snatch the second automatic promotion place.

And Wright-Phillips hopes he can add another goal and end his season on a high.

“One minute you're not scoring and get a bit of stick, the next minute you are loved,” said the striker.

“I'm happy to have hit form at the right time and hopefully I can add another one to my haul.

“I don't like to focus on it too much when I wasn't scoring. It annoys me when people just look at me as a goalscorer because they don't see what else you contribute.

“Everyone is buzzing and knows the opportunity we have. We're ready to grab it with both hands.”
