MARVIN Williams hopes to have his future sorted by the time pre-season training resumes at the end of the month.

Several unnamed League Two clubs are tracking Brentford's transfer-listed winger, who has a year left on his deal at Griffin Park.

He fell further down the pecking order in west London this week after the Bees completed the signing of Dagenham & Redbridge's Sam Saunders, who is a natural replacement for Williams on the right flank.

And the man who was signed for a nominal fee from Yeovil last year admits he would consider a loan move if he hasn't found a new club by the end of the transfer window.

He said: "I've had some interest from a couple of northern clubs, but nothing concrete yet.

"I want to get my future sorted by the time pre-season training starts, and my lease at my home in Esher is up next month as well.

"A loan deal is an option. It wouldn't offer me security, but would be a chance for me to get my career back on track."

However, the former Millwall midfielder has ruled out going on trial anywhere.

He added: "I'm only 21 and have made over 130 appearances in the Football League, so I wouldn't go on trial."
