KIRK Hudson's Brentford nightmare is finally over after having his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
The winger made just four substitute appearances for the club since being signed by Andy Scott from Aldershot Town two years ago.
Hudson was shipped out on loan to AFC Wimbledon for the second half of last season, but failed to make an impact at Kingsmeadow.
The 25-year-old has failed to feature since Uwe Rosler came to the club in the summer and was linked with a move to Southend and Forest Green Rovers.
However, both deals failed to materialise, and the club have now terminated his deal at Griffin Park.
