BRENTFORD fans can get a taste of the Capital One Cup for free this season with a little help from the Chronicle.

We have teamed up with Capital One, the credit card company and sponsors of The Football League Cup, to give supporters the chance to claim an additional match ticket for free when purchasing their own.

All you have to do is check out Friday's Chronice, where a special code will be published that readers must quote when buying their ticket from the Brentford box office.

The Capital One +1 promotion will be running across rounds one and two of the Capital One Cup 2013/14 and nearly 10,000 Football league fans will be able to benefit.

Chief marketing officer at Capital One, Michael Woodburn, added: “At Capital One we are delighted to announce what we feel is a brilliant offer for fans, allowing around 10,000 supporters to attend a round one or Round two fixture for free.

"Last season’s competition provided incredible drama and storylines on the pitch, and now we’re thrilled to help so many fans enjoy the start of another great journey in the Capital One Cup.”
