AFC Wimbledon striker Jason Prior looks to be heading to Blue Square Premier outfit Dartford.

The tall striker was left out of Neal Ardley’s Dons squad for tonight's London Cup tie with Cray Wanderers at Kingsmeadow.

He has made just four League Two appearances for Wimbledon this season, most recently coming on as a substitute in a 2-2 draw with Wycombe in January.

Ardley is exploring other options, including returning Charlie Strutton, up front and Prior is understood to be joining the Darts on a loan deal this week.

Prior was signed by former Dons boss Terry Brown in the January 2012 transfer window from Ryman League side Bognor Regis Town.

The 24-year-old suffered a horrendous double leg fracture in his second start for Wimbledon a few months later at Crawley - an injury that halted his progress at the club.
