Whitton Wanderers Eagles U11s are celebrating a huge scalp as they progressed to the last 16 of the Surrey Invitation Cup at the weekend.

They beat Kingstonian Youth Colts, a team two divisions above them, 2-0, with Albie Burgess grabbing both the goals while keeper Alfie McMaster for a string of stunning saves to maintain his clean sheet.

The U12s secured a highly respectable 1-1 draw at top of the table Raynes Park at the weekend.

James Roberts grabbed the crucial equalising goal in the second half with Patrick Kavanagh excelling throughout to claim man of the match.

Sherif Neziri starred for the Under 10s as they got their cup run underway with a comfortable 10-0 victory away at Halliford Colts. Neziri grabbed a hat-trick for the Hawks in a one sided contest, with further goals added by man of the match Benji Woodward (2), Phi Nyugen (2), Luca Brunelli (2) and Joe Edet.

The U9s produced a brilliant performance as they emerged victors in their match with Hanworth Sports.

After a cagey opening half, Whitton turned on the style after the break with goals coming from Connor Flaherty, Keanen Delaney, Aiden Cornish, Samuel Burke and Lucas Keating to complete a 5-0 rout.

Harry Perez was the star of the tournament as the U8s Eagles turned in a mixed display in a tournament at Ashford Town over the weekend.

They claimed a win, a draw and a loss against Halliford Colts, Ashford Town and CB Hounslow respectively with Oliver Palmer top scoring for the side with two goals from the three matches.

The U8 Hawks had mixed results from, their two games.

They brushed aside AFC West End 14-0 as Tay Tapper helped himself to four goals and there were hat-tricks for Aryan Soni, Enis Nezeri and Jack Fletcher; all after Casper Dowden had opened the scoring.

Tapper grabbed another in the following match but unfortunately the Hawks fell to a 2-1 defeat against hosts Woking Town Colts.

Elsewhere, Bedfont & Feltham U16s lost 5-2 to Kingstonian Youth as Brandon Logie and Segjad Hekmat’s goals didn’t prove to be enough.

Charlie Parker grabbed five goals and Adrian Cocis added a penalty for the U10 Blues as they beat Whitton Wanderers 6-2, while Alfred Amponsah starred as he scored all three goals for the U9s in a 3-3 draw against Sheen Lions.

Shaydon Hasley excelled as he notched five goals overall as the Bedfont & Feltham U8s prevailed in their tournament after winning all three of their round robin games.

The U7 Blue and Yellow teams won comfortably over Halliford Colts and Kew Association respectively.

Jack Ramson scored a massive nine goals for the Yellows while Anthony Joyson notched a hat-trick for the Blues.

And Kew Park Rangers U9s were treated to a brilliant day out at Brentford as the Bees took on Leeds United in the Championship recently.

The youngsters were lined up with flags raised prior to kick off to welcome the players onto the pitch and participated in a penalty shootout in front of the fans at half time.
