SAIDO Berahino has apologised to Uwe Rosler and his Brentford team-mates following his Twitter outburst at the weekend.
The West Brom striker was hauled off at the break during Saturday's defeat at Leyton Orient and vented his frustration via the social networking site.
Boss Rosler dropped the 18-year-old for Tuesday night's defeat at Bournemouth, but he's expected to return to the fold against Rochdale tomorrow after saying sorry for his online rant.
He told the Chronicle : “I was annoyed with my performance and the manager was right to take me off.
“But my comments on Twitter were stupid and unprofessional. I regret it and it's a learning curve for me.
“I've apologised to the gaffer and my team-mates and I can't wait until Saturday for the chance to put it right.”
Rosler left Berahino out of the 1-0 defeat at Dean Court as he felt the teenager wasn't 'in the right frame of mind'.
The England U19 international returned to Birmingham to visit his family and had a meeting with West Brom.
However, he insists he's back fully focused and raring to go ahead of the League One run-in.
“I went home to see my mum and my family,” he added. “It's been a tough period for me.
“I've missed football and it was good to be back training yesterday. Now I just want to pay back the gaffer.”
