WEST Brom loanee Saido Berahino bagged a brace as Brentford ran riot against Carlisle tonight.

The young striker marked his home debut with a well-taken double after Harlee Dean and Sam Saunders had given Uwe Rosler's men a dream start in front of the Sky TV cameras.

The hosts made most of the early running, with Leon Legge wasting a glorious chance when he headed Jake Bidwell's long ball over the top.

But the Bees eventually broke the deadlock just before the half-hour mark. Saunders sent in a teasing free-kick from the left, and Dean beat Adam Collin to head the ball into an empty net.

Brentford made it two minutes later when the ball fell to Saunders in the box, and he fired the ball under Collin at his near post.

The Bees were out of sight by the break. Shaleum Logan swung in a cross from the right, and Berahino - on a as sub for the injured Gary Alexander - rifled the ball into the right corner.

Simon Moore replaced Richard Lee at the break, and the young keeper was called into action to stop Paddy Madden's effort.

But it was Bees who found the net again eight minutes into the second-half. Clayton Donaldson played through Berahino, who curled the ball into the right-hand corner from the edge of the box.

The youngster almost bagged the matchball, only to drag his shot wide as the Bees ran out easy winners to climb up to ninth in the table.

BEES: Lee (Moore 46), Logan (Thompson 77), Legge, Dean, Bidwell, Bean, Douglas, Diagouraga, Saunders, Donaldson, Alexander (Berahino 29). Subs (not used): McGinn, Weston.
