Gordon Bartlett has targeted five wins from Wealdstone's remaining nine Ryman Premier League matches to seal a play-off place.

His side begin their final month of the season with a tricky home clash against in-form Tonbridge Angels on Saturday before they travel to Harrow Borough on Easter Monday.

After watching his side win only their third league game of March at Maidstone United on Saturday Bartlett reckons 15 points from a possible 27 will guarantee his side a top five finish. However, he warned they can only afford a maximum of three defeats if they are to achieve their goal.

“I don't think we will be far away if we pick up six wins from ten,” he said. “We have won the first one and now we have got to play a lot of teams who are in and around us. Seven of the last nine games are at home and we have got to make that count.

“But it is a tough run-in starting with a Tonbridge side who are flying. They went into the start of March in 19 th and they go into April in fifth.”

Dean Smith (hamstring) is out for ther rest of the season while fellow defender Rob Fitzgerald (hamstring) is a couple of weeks away from a return.
