Greg Ngoyi, Rob Fitzgerald, Darren Locke, Louis Lavers and goalkeeper Sam Beagle are expected to start tonight's Ryman League Cup semi final.

All five were on the bench during Tuesday's goalless draw with Billericay Town but manager Gordon Bartlett says he has no choice but to rotate his squad in light of their hectic fixture schedule.

"There will be changes but I want to sin something this year," he said. "The lads on the bench on Tuesday will all start as it is a match we are taking seriously. We have got to make a balanced judgement on who to play as we are going into unknown territory. We want to do well but our priority is to get into the play-offs."

His assistant, Leo Morris, added: "We think we've got a squad with enough strength and depth to go out there and do a job for us. We want to win the cup but we will have to rotate the team. Five games in nine days would test any squad."

Meanwhile, Bartlett was happy with Tuesday's display, their second clean sheet in three games.

"I've no complaints about the result,” said the Stones boss. “They got bodies in the way on numerous occasions but we created more chances.

“The character and work ethic of the side was tremendous under the circumstances of playing so many games. You've got to be happy with a point against a side that beat Dartford 4-1 ten days ago.

“Their players were punching the air at the end – they seemed very pleased with the draw.”
