WEALDSTONE FC's future certainly looks bright after the reserve side were crowned Middlesex Premier Cup winners for the second year in succession.

They thumped Staines Lammas 4-0 and looked in control from the outset.

Ade Kelani met Rodney Hicks's sublime cross to give the Stones a third minute lead before Luke Peace made it 2-0 after Alioune Fall had headed on to the post.

With the wind at their backs in the second-half Staines posed more of a threat, but the Stones' defence and goal-keeper Sam Leggett repelled everything that came their way.

Man of the match Dan Lake then settled it with a peach of a volley from the edge of the box, before Steven Eyango-Bwanga capped a memorable night with a superb lob from 20 yards out.
