Alan Massey scored a late equaliser to somehow keep Wealdstone's play-off dreams alive with just two games left to play. Stones created little until the final 20 minutes and centre half Massey got his head on Lee Chappell's massive throw-in to cancel out Lee Noble's 18 th minute opener for the Ryman Premier champions.

With Aveley, Stones' main threat for a top five finish, losing 2-1 at Billericay it means Stones can still sneak in there if they win their remaining games.

Stones lived dangerously early on and were relieved to see Lee Burns spurn three gilt-edged chances.

However, Noble fired the visitors ahead with a sweetly-struck half volley, which arced over Sean Thomas and into the top corner of the goal.

Thomas then clawed away Allan Tait's drive before Burns squandered another chance at the back post.

Matt McClure, Stones' two goal hero at Horsham on Saturday, watch his volley fizz through a sea of bodies and beyond the far post before having a penalty appeal turned down after he was sent tumbling in the box as half time approached.

It was a similar story in the second half except this time Thomas was worked more, saving from Tait and Ryan Johnson in quick succession.

Gordon Bartlett threw on Greg Ngoyi and Charlie Mpi and both squandered chances to score as the clock ticked down.

However, centre half Massey squared things with ten minutes to go with a towering header from Chappell's torpedo throw.

Thomas then denied Dartford substitute Rob Howarth from point blank range in the dying minutes.
