Wealdstone have got their hands on a new electronic scoreboard – courtesy of Watford FC.
Surplus to requirements at Vicarage Road due to demolition work going on at the ground, Hornets fans Paul Holden and Michael Schogger have ensured that the Ryman Premier side will have a virtually brand new scoreboard in excellent condition, which they hope to install in the very near future.
Wealdstone Ppresident Paul Rumens expressed his gratitude to the Hornets, saying: “We are tremondously grateful to Watford FC and to Paul and Michael for making this possible and it will further enhance the match day experience at The Vale once installed”.
Wealdstone are looking for sponsors for the board and are welcoming enquiries.
