BRENTFORD will wrap up the loan signing of Watford defender Adam Thompson later today.

The Northern Irishman spent a spell at Griffin Park earlier in the season, making 10 appearances for the Bees.

Boss Uwe Rosler tried to bring the 19-year-old back to TW8 in November, only for the move to be blocked as Thompson was needed at Vicarage Road as cover.

Brentford signed fellow Hornet Dale Bennett for a second stint in January, but he returned to the Championship club at the end of the month.

With Kevin O'Connor still sidelined, Rosler is short of options in defence, and wants another right-back to provide competition for Shaleum Logan .

And he has agreed a deal to bring Thompson back to TW8 for another loan spell.
