BRENTFORD have shown the door to Watford defender Oliver Archer .

The young centre-back has been on trial at Griffin Park after his release by the Hornets and featured for the reserves in a 4-1 win at Aldershot last week.

However, he has not done enough to earn a contract with the Bees, and is joined out of the exit door by Chesham United defender Robert Bartley .

Archer's Vicarage Road team-mate Adam Fenwick will get another chance to shine against Leyton Orient on Friday in a last-ditch attempt to impress.

Fulham's Michael Kamau, Warren Morgan (Reading), Liam Bellamy (ex-Charlton) will also feature, but there are injury doubts over Fulham duo Jonathan Cosgrove and Aaron Pierre, and Brentford's Chris Bush .

Ryan Blake will play at left-back as he bids to earn a new deal in TW8, while Samuel Griffiths (Wolves) and Chelsea's Ben Sampayo are still on the radar.
