UWE Rosler hopes new loan signing Adam Thompson will provide competition for Brentford right-back Shaleum Logan.
We exclusively revealed earlier this week that the Watford defender was returning to Griffin Park for another spell at the club.
The Northern Irishman made 10 appearances for the Bees earlier this season, and has been brought in to battle it out with Logan for one of the full-back berths.
Boss Rosler said: “Adam's a more defensive option than Shaleum, and will do well against the teams who are playing long balls into our box.
“He played well for us earlier in the season, and we know what we're going to get from him.”
