NEIL Warnock hopes to add some fresh faces to his QPR squad in time for the Premier League clash with Newcastle United next month.

The Rangers boss has drawn up a list of targets and discussed his transfer plans at a board meeting yesterday morning.

And he wants to have two or three new arrivals in time for the trip to St James' Park on January 16.

“We'd like to get two or three players in before the Newcastle game,” said Warnock.

“We've got Norwich [on January 2] and the FA Cup game against MK Dons, and then I'd like have people in by the next league match.

“There's quite a number [on my list] because you're not going to always get the ones you want. January's a difficult month, but we need improving because of the numbers in the squad.

“We've got to get people in who will give us a chance off the bench as well as. It's a vital window for us.”

However, Warnock has refused to confirm his interest in Fulham frontman Bobby Zamora , who has been strongly linked with a move to W12.

He added: “We've had Zamora mentioned but you're going to get speculation. I've just got to keep everything close to my chest knowing that things will come out in the next few weeks.”
