SECOND-HALF injuries to fly half Michael Weymouth and second row Darren Curl proved to be the catalyst for Uxbridge's 39-5 capitulation to league leaders Old Priorians.

Dominant in the pack in the first half, the visitors trailed 7-5 at the interval after Lewis Edwards darted over from the back of a drive.

They kept turning the ball over in the second half before losing the influential pair of Weymouth and Curl. Old Priorians took full advantage and exploited the open space with two tries in quick succession.

The hosts upped their game and secured plenty of turnover ball to run in a further three tries.

Scrum half Mark Wilson, Simon Batts and forwards Owen Donnelley and Dan Pitkin impressed for Uxbridge.
