HAYES & Yeading have swooped for Dartford keeper Louis Wells after releasing James Beasant this week.

The 31-year-old signed for Tony Burman’s Darts in November 2011 from Staines Town but has fallen down the pecking order at the Conference Premier club.

New United boss Tony O’Driscoll has acted quickly to recruit the experienced shot-stopper after showing the door to Beasant (pictured).

The young keeper has battled for a first-team spot at Kingfield since joining from the Glen Hoddle Academy in late 2011.

Brandon Hall has provided competition this term and Beasant acted as understudy to Steve Arnold as the club were relegated last season.

And United have now decided it is time for the nephew of former Wimbledon legend Dave to move on as he leaves the club ahead of this weekend’s trip to Truro.
