HAYES and Yeading United are set to confirm the signing of full-back Curtis Wynter.

The 20-year-old is another recruit from the Glenn Hoddle Academy and Wynter will be joined by fellow defender Callum Morris, who has also been guided by the ex-England international.

Hayes and Yeading have been desperate for a new left-back with Dan Spence currently sidelined and he is now unlikely to return until Christmas at the earliest due to his knee injury.

Wynter, who started his career with Coventry City and made one first-team appearance, fits the bill as he can play left-back or right-back and he has impressed during a two-week training spell with Hayes and Yeading.

Hayes and Yeading are also likely to complete a one-month loan deal for Brentford's Jake Reeves either today or tomorrow and before Thursday's emergency loan window slams shut.

As reported by the Gazette last week, Hayes and Yeading's loan move for the 18-year-old was put on hold as he was suffering with a chest infection.
