STRUGGLING Hayes & Yeading United are hoping to raid AFC Wimbledon for a couple of loan signings in a bid to get their season back on track.

United have found it tough to adapt to life back in the Blue Square South following their relegation last term.

Manager Nas Bashir parted ways with the club last month after failing to mount a promotion push at Kingfield.

The club’s new boss, Tony O’Driscoll, was an interested observer at Chipstead on Tuesday night for Wimbledon’s Surrey Senior Cup win.

Dons fringe players Jason Prior, Brendan Kiernan and Charlie Strutton are at the top of the United manager’s shopping list as he looks to add more firepower in the final third.

Strutton got himself on the scoresheet in the 2-1 win against the Chips - his first goal since netting in an FA Cup replay against York City last November.
